5 Simple Ways To Save And Protect Sparrows

Sparrows were once among the most spotted birds in our childhood but now a continuous decline in their numbers can be seen.
World Sparrow Day is being celebrated on March 20 in order to increase awareness and put the spotlight on the conservation of the adorable house sparrows and other birds.
Keep a bowl of water in your balcony or in an open area where birds can come and hydrate themselves, especially in the summers.
You can put bird feeders outside your house, in gardens, farms, any open area where these little creatures can come and feed themselves.
Plant trees and grow shrubs in your locality so that the birds have a place to stay and make their nests. Do not just exist, co-exist.
Protect the birds from pollution and if you can then use a superior quality fuel in your vehicle to decrease the pollutants in the environment.
Minimise the use of mobile phones and provide a radiation-free zone for yourself as well as for sparrows and other birds.
