The big AI battle got another iteration this week as Elon Musk’s AI startup released the new Grok AI 3 model.
Grok offers a variety of modes, including Auto, Visualise, and Search, that allow users to manipulate its results.
With its increased accessibility, Grok will be able to directly compete with other well-known AI chatbots, such as ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini.
When users click the “Sign In” button, they have the option to log in using Google or email or link their X account.
Like the free plan, users who log in without an X Premium account will be subject to similar restrictions, such as 10 image generations every two hours, 3 image analysis credits daily, and 4 image generations daily.
Once users have logged in, they can activate “Temporary Mode” by clicking on the ghost icon located in the upper-right corner. Users will see a link to their chat history and a simple settings menu next to the ghost icon.
Grok has now made its AI tools available to a larger audience by going beyond its original offering for X Premium users and launching a free model and dedicated website.
