Nvidia cut prices for RTX 50 series GPU across Europe and UK
Nvidia has reportedly lowered the prices of new RTX 50 series GPUs across the European region. However, there are a few things to note, as these price cuts are only across the founder's edition of the GPU, which is already quite low in quantity. Furthermore, the RTX 5070 Ti did not receive any change in price, while other GPUs only had a slight shift.
As reported by videocardz, who received emails regarding the price changes, Nvidia reported an adjustment to the GPU prices due to changes in the currency exchange rate. Although the changes aren’t moving the scales as much and may not have much of an effect considering the current GPU market.
Nvidia GPU price cut doesn't do much for gamers
The changes in GPU prices are all less than 5% and as mentioned above, the RTX 5070 Ti retains its price. Here are the changes compared to the launch prices of RTX 50 series graphics cards.
GeForce RTX 5090: €2329 down to €2229
GeForce RTX 5080: €1169 down to €1119
GeForce RTX 5070 Ti: €879 remains the same at €879
GeForce RTX 5070: €649 down to €619

Gamers should not get their hopes up
Despite the change in pricing, those who are planning to grab one now should not have high hopes. The Founders Edition of Nvidia GPU is one of the only cards at MSRP and those too run out of stock quickly. Possibly by bots or some people who are lucky to get one.
The third-party GPUs also remain unaffected by these price changes, meaning a majority of RTX 50 series graphics cards are still priced way above the recommended MSRP and are reportedly left unsold since launch as people refuse to pay an inflated price.
