Oscar Piastri's two different lives after the Chinese GP
Oscar Piastri the 2025 Chinese Grand prix winner had two different days. One day he was the race winner, the next day he was standing in the queue waiting for his turn to get on the plane for his next trip. Oscar Piastri doesn't own a private jet like Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc.

The 2025 F1 Chinese Grand Prix winner is driving for one of the top teams on the F1 grid McLaren but still, he chose to fly in economy class to his home. Oscar was seen going with his McLaren crew who were given economy class.
Formula 1 teams and drivers travel from one country to another via private jets owned by the drivers or team principals. Only VIPs and drivers were allowed inside the private jets. They can't accompany their entire crew, so they book passenger flights mostly economy class.
Piastri wanted to spend more time with his crew who made the win possible in Shanghai. He was seen talking with them waiting in a long queue just like a normal man. Some fans even noticed Oscar Piastri and greeted him for his victory in China.
After winning the Chinese Grand Prix for the first time in his career, Oscar became the first McLaren driver to win in China, since Lewis Hamilton's win in the 2011 F1 season. The track is very tough and Oscar drove his second F1 race in Shanghai and won. He is expected to win more races this year.
It was a great victory for the australian after a disastrous home grand prix in Melbourne a week ago. Many predicted Piastri would come back stronger and he eventually did and showed his capabilities as a driver. He is now in competition for the 2025 F1 championship against his teammates Lando Norris, Max Verstappen and George Russell.
