Yuzvendra Chahal-Dhanashree Verma Divorce: Chahal To Pay ₹4.75 Crore As Alimony

Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal has agreed to pay Rs 4 crore 75 lakh to choreographer Dhanashree Verma.

On Wednesday, Bar and Bench reported that as per the consent term, Chahal had agreed to pay a permanent alimony of Rs 4 crore 75 lakhs to Verma.

Of this, Rs 2 crore 37 lakhs and 55 thousand has already been paid to the choreographer. The non-payment of the rest of the amount was seen as non compliance by the family court.

Several reports previously claimed that the choreographer was seeking Rs 60 crore in alimony from the cricketer. However, Dhanashree’s family rejected the claims.

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma tied the knot in 2020.

They have been living separately for almost a year now.
